After my 4runner got caught out in the rain last night with the top off, I've been having a hell of a time with some electrical problems. First the radio and dash lights didn't work, now just the radio does. Also everytime I put in the clutch to shift while driving, it would try to turn the starter over. I turned it off and on a few times and it stopped doing that. Now the battery is completely dead and there is a ticking noise coming from the fuse box by the battery. I am so lost it isn't funny.
Any help and ideas is greatly appreciated. I'm bummed.

 

It sounds like some of your electrical has gotten water in it, Put the top back on and if you can get it started let it run with the heater on full for a long while and see if that will dry things out.
