I get a puff of dark smoke only at start up after its been sitting, just one puff but a good size puff. I know two of my valve guides are bad from discoloration when I adjusted the valves last fall. The cam also has a hair line score (not crack) in it from one of the rocker arms. Anyway, the truck runs great, other than the valve tap and the occasional smoke, we are going to Saranac lakes NY from PA next week to paddle and I want to take the truck. What do you guys think? It should be fine rite?
