How did you miss this when changing the mount??

Are you not glad you didn`t change motor mounts

 

I have no idea how i missed this replacing the mount. I only saw it while I was checking out the driver side engine mount while it was running and I saw out of the corner of my eye that something was moving so i pointed my attention that way and turns out that was my torque converter spinning around and I could only see it through the blown out hole in the side of my transmission, so I checked all the way around and most of it is cracked all the way around. The truck still runs and shifts fine which is beyond me but anyways here are some pics

I saved the best for last, this is the drivers side. I think its pretty obvious what's wrong here, look hard enough you'll see my torque converter

 

92Yoda, are you serious about selling your 4runner?

 

100% selling it,I already have another vehicle and dont plan on ever turning another wrench on that truck, so if anybody is interested PM me. PS I live in Penticton BC Canada

 

your frustration is understood... Unless you're in a hurry be patient and don't give it away for scrap

I need some parts, not a whole car.
