Is this a bad crack on the intake hose?

Been having some rough, stumbling idle ever since I had the valve cover gaskets done. Rig is an 88 4Runner V6. Getting ready to to a smoke test to look for vacuum leaks when I notice the air hose going into the TB is cracked. I can't tell if this crack is enough to cause the rough idle or not...Either way I am replacing it and I am still going to do the smoke test. Just curious if this is considered a significant leak or not. Seems to seal up decent when the clamp is tight, but I can also see how air could go right through that, even when clamped.

In my opinion, that crack is probably not causing a vac leak.
If it was in the bellows part of the hose would be worse. Some guys duct tape them up.
Good to replace it because you are dealing with 30 year old rubber(that lasted much longer than a new one will).
Good luck with the smoke test.
spraying water on the hoses can help determine where a vac leak is also.

Well I hooked up my diy smoke machine and pretty quickly found that one of the nuts that connects to the EGR was way loose. Tightened it up and ran some more smoke through it and now it’s coming out of the holes on the bottom of the EGR. I know that the EGR opens and closes, but I just wasn’t expecting to see smoke come out of the EGR.
