Aux light connect to positive battery terminal/cable
For folks with Aux lights such as the Hella 500 kit:
How did you connect the red lead from the relay to the positive battery terminal/cable?
My inclination was to fray the wire end and wedge it to the terminal post with the cable clamp. Better methods?

Use a ring terminal on the wire, crimp AND solder it for a good strong connection.
Once you have properly soldered and crimped the terminal onto the wire, just unbolt the neg and pos battery wires, and there should be a nut that you can take off on the positive side, where the stock fuse box connects to the clamp.
Remember to put an inline fuse or circuit breaker AS CLOSE TO THE BATTERY AS POSSIBLE. This is very important because it will prevent your truck from burning up if you get a short somewhere.

yup I did the same thing, both a 6 slot fuse box and a 4 slot relay box, both weather resistant. It really does clean everything up.
