Well I have a 3.0 auto tranny that just randomly skips second gear.There it no pattern to skipping I have noticed that It does it more when its hot out side.I can manually downshift it back to 2nd and it works fine.

I need to know every single thing that can make this happen.I have a potential buyer and I need money bad so please help me guys.

Check the fluid level first.

I can't really help, I'm diagnosing auto problems myself right now, and am completely lost.
