Automatic tranfer case with a manual trans?

Automatic tranfer case with a manual trans?

I have a 1988 auto v6 4x4 pickup, what manual tranny's match up to ii? And most of all, can i still use my automatic tranfer case if i swap the auto tranny for a 5 speed manual?

auto trans and transfer case are 1 unit. they share fluid and the transfer case is a chain driven unit. no go to swap behind a 5 speed. you are going to need an R150 trans to swap.

Any where close to Eastern Pa ??

If you pulled it out I would give you a 5 Speed (R151F) and the transfer case with it.

Most likely the 3.4 Swap is not going to get done.
