Auto Tranny Compatibility
So tranny problems here. 92 22re Auto ( YA ) I want to know if a older tranny will work , I found a 83 A43d local here for a good deal and am really hoping it will run. I know it's from a carb model so what if I changed over the electrical hook ups ? Thanks.

Should be a way to make it work. This link here says it should go behind a 22re if it's an A340F. http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/faq/parts/
No, you meant A43D(L,E). I found it in this list. What's it out of? Did that have a 22r?
