ATF leaking from bellhousing

what does this mean? transmission shifts like normal, but there's a slow drip from the seam where the bellhousing bolts to the block, down onto the diff, then onto the ground. it's making quite a mess

119k on the A340H tranny

Probably the front seal on the tranny is leaking. Check the fluid level more frequently. A small drip is just messy but if it gets worse it should be replaced.

Oh it's replaceable, not fun though. Gotta pull the engine or trans as you know.
Here is a pic of my old one before replacing it.

Good luck!
In retrospect I was in a hurry to get my engine installed and went with the Oreilly seal. Looking back I would be more comfortable if I had purchased an genuine Toy seal.
Sorry about the supersize pic everyone.
