Anyone had a problem with an aftermarket fan (bearing) bracket?

Toyota only sells the fan brackets as an assembly with the fan clutch and pulleys (arm and leg) and I only need the fan bracket which should only cost an arm if Toyota would sell it by itself. There are some aftermarket ones out there but just worried about the quaility. Anyone using one?

Maybe try a junkyard for the original part you want or Yotayard online if no slavage yards are local to you.

lmao.......have you even called toyota to see what this part go's for? Last I knew, it went for about $750........ I paid $75 from the junk yard, and have had no problems, but I run a electric fan now. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/93-95...42399680QQrdZ1
Anyone that buys one of these from a dealer should check themselves in somewhere

I went ahead and bought the aftermarket one on e-bay from Sandman's auto parts (panthercoug) over 7000 sales and 99.9% positive feedback. I ask about a warranty and Mark said he would give me a 2 year warranty on it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

Yes I priced a new OEM assembly, the cheapest I could find was $210.30 (this is for my 2001 5VZFE engine) I didn't really want to go to a salvage yard because the one I have now is from a salvaged vehicle and I think that is why it's making a strange noise.

I'm going to be running an e-fan too, so this is really just an expensive idler pulley for the belts.
