Anybody know what this plug is called, or where to get one??
I’ve had a leaky oil pan for a little while now and finally decided to take it off and seal it properly. After removal I was suprised to see the rubbery plug on the transmission behind the oil pan was chewed up and barley hanging on. Not sure what could have happened to it, but I’m sure it was installed like that by the previous owner. Not sure what the plug is for either... Maybe to view the transmission? Nonetheless I need to find a new one. Does anybody know what this is called or where I could get a replacement?

It looks like you saw the other thread you posted in, but for others who come across this thread, I will quote my post here:
You should be able to get this part from your favorite local Toyota dealer or online dealer.

I am not sure of the picture numbers. It must be a phone or mobile device thing.
That is an inspection / access plug for automatic transmissions that Toyota calls:
PLUG, HOLE (FOR REAR END PLATE)
TOYOTA PART NUMBER: 90950-01458
Part Number Category: 11355A (Shown below)
