any rock slider pics
I almost bought a set of rock slider from trail-gear today for 135 a pair. I am just a little confused as to how there gonna look when there on my truck. I have seen sliders that almost look like a step they stick out so far from the side of the truck I am looking for a set that are very tight to the rockers. Is that just all in how long you cut the legs that weld to the frame and where at on the tube u weld them to determine the positin the sit agianst your rocker panels. If anyone could post pics of your sliders and let me know what brand that would be greatly appreciated thanks.
If the pics shows that is how im wanting them to look.

The trail gear set is great because you can cut the legs to whatever length you desire. Did you purchase the mounting kit from them too? I have the same set, and I love them. I'll take some pics tommorrow. I didnt cut the leg at all, so the back edge of the slider rail is even with the rocker. I also put them at a 10 degree cant. Pretty solid setup

I would really recommend welding them to the frame. Its alot stronger then bolting them on. They are still removable with a sawzall and a grinder. You won't have a dozen holes in your frame either. Just my .02
