Any idea what this connector is?
I have been curious what this is ever since i took the middle console apart. Over 6 months ago? i think.
Anyway, had it apart last night and took a picture.
Does anyone have any idea what the connector on the right is for? The one on the left goes to my back window, but not a clue what the right one is for...

(Sorry about poor quality pic. Took from my phone when it was getting dark)

90-95 Power antennas are controlled via a relay. There is no switch like the 84-89 4Runners had. Sorta silly, as the only way to raise/lower the radio in a 2nd/3rd/4th gen is to turn the radio on/off.

Ok, ok!!... I'll go look!
Wait a sec....
Ok, I'm back. Didn't pull my console right out, but I popped the switch for the rear heater control and it is a 3 pin connector. The switch itself has a 12" lead on it, so I couldn't physically see the connector but given your photo, it only makes sense. Even if it was never used, Toyota has a habit of using the same harness regardless of the trim level, and adding what was ordered.
So I agree with DeathCougar. Rear heater control.

many of the options were dealer installed, so Toyota had to account for that and provide the wiring harness(es) accordingly.
wasn't there an option for rear heat/cooling in the 90's... and maybe an ashtray / cig lighter too?

Definately the option for rear heat. My SR5 has it. No cig lighter, just and ashtray in the console. After checking, there's nothing else that switch could be. If it was the window lockout (like my '91 had), then it wouldn't work with the switch missing.
