i coulndnt help but notice that you have a body lift. did the blocks hold up good against the impact? if yes then the guys that say body lifts are dangerous and cause the cab to fly off is kinda not true unless you were in an impact that would kill everyone.

i give my condolences to you and your bro, as well as the other guy... But make sure that YOU don't get effed by the insurance company. Its completely his fault, and he should pay for any medical and auto problems that you have.

That's a drag for sure. The reason I asked is because the transmission and engine may very well be damaged. I have heard of weird things like crankshafts breaking in collisions and the engine would run with a clunk, rattle, or vibration. I would be concerned about the front end of the trans, too. Just stuff to look out for if you reuse parts. Maybe nothing is wrong at all.

I was thinking the same exact thing before i went to the towing yard...But the deal was, since the body was further off the frame, it resulted in more of a impact to the other mans car instead of us...the motor stopped the cab from flying forward off the frame, and the mounts just ripped out where the frame was crumpling...the yard said if i hadnt had it on there, we wouldve been in worse condition, but the other guy mightve been better off...i think if i where to do it again i probly would, because the frame took the most of the hit, an the blocks and body mounts just gave way...it may have acted lke a "cushion"...ill post more detailed pics when i get time...

Yeah, the input spline is probly toast...it had a pilot bearing it it...idk if that would bend the cshaft...but i hope not!

From: Cincinnati, Ohio - Amelia is the exact place. There is no one else on this site from where I am. Seems like everyone is from Cali or Washington. I guess I need to move.

What will you take for one of those rims? I need one, when I totaled my truck last week I sheared a rim and need that exact same rim you have, that American Racing 767 with the horrible pin stripping
