And another... grinding noise

My 1990 2door Runner has been a lot of fun, and a pain in the ass. It’s obvious the previous owners did not keep up on maintenance. Anyways after replacing and fixing a boat load off stuff I have a new problem.

After a day of screwing around at the local ORV park I have developed a grinding noise on the front passenger side. It almost sounds like a plastic panel rubbing on the tire but it is not that. It seems to be coming from the CV axle or wheel hub area. I did replace the CV axle a few months ago.

it makes this sound when taking off, braking and with the tranny in neutral and coasting. Standing still it doesn’t do anything. Turning does not seem to effect it. I’m thinking wheel bearings possibly? I guess it could be a CV also. Any other ideas.
