Alternator issue after engine wash

Hi every one

This afternoon I have been washing my 4r engine because I had a lot of mud on it (with pressure water on everything)
It?s not the first time I do it, but this time my charge light comes on in the dash when my rpms go up.
My charge gauge reaches the max, and then the charge light goes on. If I turn on some electrical accesories like lights or AC, the charge light goes down and the light turns off.

It has to be an issue with the water and I will have to wait until it dries, but I will like to know If I can do something to solve it faster.

Everything runs fine, no check engine light, brake light.....

Thanks,
Javier
