alternator belt HELP

so i know that my alternator belt is loose (22re). the other 2 belts are nice and easy to tighten up, because of the belt tensioner pulleys. now either i am blind, or the 1st belt (the one that runs the alternator) does not have a tensioner pulley. is there any easy way to get this belt tight? i already tightened the other 2 so i know the squealing is coming from this one.

well...on my 3vze you undo the bolt above and below the alternator on the brackets, pull the alternator tight, and while holding it tight, tighten down the bolts and walla tight belt! hope this helps

that's what i was afraid of. back when i had an 88 camry, i think that was what i had to do also. the difference was that it was at the top of the engine, and i had my bro wedge the bolt tight by using a shovel to lift the alternator up while i tightened the bolts! this alternator is underneath!

Just use a short piece of pipe or a pry bar to hold the alternator tight and tighten the bolts thats what i did when I replaced my alternator and it was easy enough.
