Stating which engine you have would be extremely helpful in getting an accurate answer.

This was Before I threw the filter in the trash can where it belongs.
(they are terrible offroad. and suck in to much engine heat on road)
You want COLD AIR not Hot engine bay air.

noone to my knowledge makes a cold air intake. Like 4hummer said though, if you do any offroading at all then throw the cone filter in the trash can... esp. if you play in the mud.

Swiss cheese your airbox, or just take out the restrictive intake elbow and add a k and N panel filter. Best of luck to you

i wouldnt even mess with the k&n drop in filter. i did it and its a pita alwasy having to clean it. i feel like it will never be as clean as once it came out of the box. plus for $44 dollars you could by alot of plain ol filters this way when one gets dirty no sweat just drop in a new one.

yaeh I regret putting on a cone filter. I mean if you look at the size of the K&N it's massive compared to the little hole the air travels through the AFM. Damn I need a stock air box.

Personally speaking I've never had a problem cleaning and re-oiling my cone filter, and it works just great thank you...I only do it about once a year, maybe twice if i spent a summer going down dirt roads or through a lot of road distruction zones...just follow the intructions in the cleaner/recharger kit and you will have no problems at all.
Cheers Aviator
