the age old question: chrome or black

Welllpppp, I got a new job and im makin more money so figured id start tacklin some of the things on my want list. I just ordered my 1 inch body lift from WabFab and now im in the market for some rims. My big question is whether to go with black or chrome. Here are some pics from back in the day that 4runnerkid was nice enough to photoshop for me. They are the style rims i want on his 4runner which is identical to mine minus the lift. Let me know what you guys think and if you have any rims ud be interested in sellin. by the way, im lookin at buyin the RockCrawler Series 97 rims so if you got any like them please feel free to shoot me a PM. also, any comments about rockcrawlers quality is welcomed

i was always a fan of black rims. Always thought black and white was a kick ass color combo. The price tag of the black rims kinda draw me in to. Anymore opinions??

Bling won't get you home and chrome is for (insert expletive here).

You can buy a whole set of black rims for one what bling one costs too.

i keep looking back and forth at the pics and can't decide which one i like better, but i have the perfect solution - black wheels on one side and chrome on the other

I think the black looks better in that case. On my truck i have chrome, but it kinda balences with the gray of the truck. I think you ouchta go black because it matches the windows.

Black is nice but with all that chrome on that snow white rig already I got to cast my vote for the chrome rims they just seem to fit better IMO. Aviator

Chrome is a nice change since black is everywhere especially on those damn Heep Cherokee Sports from the '90s,there's 6 of them in a three block radius of my house.

Why not go with a set of 3rd gen Limited wheels and be different with a 2nd gen?
