aftermarket sheet metal parts fit

Have found Car Parts Wholesale, they ship from Wichita in KS, ordered a new rear bumper this morning, also found they have front fenders, valance, other parts I need to slick up my 91 Toyota pu, wondering about the fit. Do these fenders and parts fit like OEM? Have seen some pretty bad looking aftermarket fenders for other makes. My front fenders are rusting through, and the valance has met too many curbs, and the paint is getting to look like there is no sheen left. Washing is not all that pleasing anymore. Please comment on the fit of the fenders etc. Suppose I'll lose the factory side stripes.

Without a picture or a link, it's kind of hard to say one way or the other

really depens on whom your buying from, for example, lmc truck (wich should really consider adding toyota to their lineup) will fit alot like oem 99% of the time, and should arrive without any major damage and minimal trimming and modifications etc.

where as "jon don's spare parts" might not be manufactured as presice and carefully etc. as the other well known manufacturers

When I purchased my truck, I needed a driver's side front fender due to rust. After I put a deposit on the truck, it was "backed into" which I don't 100% by, and I needed a valence, a bumper and the passenger fender.

I have purchased some aftermarket panels from www.rockauto.com.

I purchased 2 fenders, a front bumper and a lower valence. My 2 fenders and lower valence were CAPA certified. The bumper was a "deluxe" model. I ended up returning the bumper as it had extra tabs where the valence is supposed to fit into the bumper (on either side of the license plate). In addition, the mounting studs had a 1/2" variance top to bottom.

The valence arrived bent as well, although I am certain it would have fit properly otherwise. The fenders look to be top notch. I am hoping they fit properly when I paint and install them in the next few months. I'm relying on the CAPA certification to ensure a decent fit. Obviously, I'm not looking for perfection, but I don't want people to be like, WTF was he thinking?
