Aftermarket clutch line?

Does anyone know if there is a company that makes an aftermarket clutch line for toyota pickups? The previous owner rounded off the line fitting coming out of the clutch master cylinder and I have to use vice grips to deal with it. I also seem to have a small leak with air getting into the system and think it may be from one of the fittings. Thanks

I replaced my factory clutch line with this
Extended Braided Brake Line Male-Female

* Color: Clear

04B01-R26-CLR
from marlincrawler.com. Works flawlessly, but the retainer clips won't keep it in place like the stock line.

Isn't the stock line male-male? did you just use a fitting to convert from female to male? also were you able to reach fron the clutch master to the slave using just one, or two of the lines? It says they are only 26 inches long. Other than that, thanks! I didnt even think of searching for brake lines!

Oh and do you know what size the fitting is for the clutch line? if I figure that out I may be able to have a custom one made at a hydraulic shop.

There's a pic of the line installed, top end where it connects at the firewall you need a female end, and down at the slave cylinder a male end is required.
I dunno the fitting sizes off the top of my head though, sorry.

You can get a new line from Toyota or a front brake line also works there. Fittings are the same M10x1.0 thread as the brakes.

I was going to run a braided line from the MC down to the slave cylinder....

does the rear brake line part suggested from marlin crawler also have a m10x1.0 thread ?

If it does, i'll just make my whole clutch line braid down to the slave cylinder.

thank you guys.

Do you run it in place of the black rubber hose? Or do you actually run it from the MC to the rubber hose or from the hose to the Slave ?

The flaring of the line I did OR the fitting isn't working on the MC...

So i'm looking for alternatives to this. I can hear splooshing when I press in the clutch and release.

Just in place of the stock (short) rubber line on the firewall. I needed a slightly longer hose with the body lift I had (before I raised the drivetrain), so used my old rear brake line which is maybe 2" longer than the stock clutch hose.

Is that line a 10millimeter end with 1.0 thread ?

I appreciate your help. I'm just trying to find a braided line I can use instead of bent tubing. Flaring is a pain ....

I'm considering using plumber's tape? To wrap on the hose at the flare and also around the threads to seal it better.

I'm open to suggestions on that ...

Yep, all the hydraulic fittings (brakes and clutch) are the same thread.

I can supply braided brake hoses from 10" - 40" long with male or female M10x1.0 fittings.

Don't think teflon tape will do a lot to help seal that line, as fluid can leak out where the fitting is loose around the hard line.

I need your help then !!! (pm me if you want)

How much, marlin is wanting $30 for 24 inches. and if you know what i've done/spent in the past 4 days, my budget is extremely tight .... I might just run braided line until the rubber hose, and replace that later. Need to get on the road asap ..

That is a decent price from Marlin, if that length works, go for it. My hoses are custom built so cost somewhat more than that and take a little time to get the parts and make them.

Or just grab a hard line out of a junkyard truck.

Would you recommend replacing the line from the rubber hose to the MC with braided line? Would I lose pressure at all ?
