Advice on sky's transfer case e-brake kit

Was looking into http://www.sky-manufacturing.com/new...uct.php?id=142 and wondered if anyone was running one. I know all pro also makes one and says something about needing some sort of adapter for vehicles with electronic speedometer senders (vss) but sky makes no mention of this.

I have the AP one on my 85, works great, and just bought another used for my 85 ext cab.

Note: They only work on 4cyl. If you have the vss you need to call AP for the adapter.

I've been looking at the kit for a while now and I'm considering getting one; I think my e-brake cable is stretched out, and it just doesn't work very good... and it doesn't like to retract sometimes...

sure I could fix the stock one, but what's the fun in stock

and it's really not that expensive of something to buy really

Yeah I have a 4cyl, not sure why I'd need an adapter for the vss though. Gonna email sky and see if their's needs one as well. Their's is a little cheaper and from what I've read online, reinforced better than the AP.

I have the AP one and it works great, I didn't have to use an adaper or anything. You're locked in the rear so you should be ok.
