adjusting the tps

i have been trying to adjust the tps with the site http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/CheapTricks/TPS/index.shtml. i put in the feeler gauge .0335 " in and turn it till it looses continuity. i tighten down the screws and insert the .0224" in and it should have continuity but it does not. It is hard to find guages that round to .0335 so i use a .034" and a .022" for the second adjustment. will this change any adjustments or do i need the exact feeler gauges?

I set mine by listening to the idle.I had the dealer check it and they said it was with in spec.it may have been dumb luck but it worked better than the book for me.
