how is that power antena coming along...

i dont even have a antena in my truck..
so let me know what i will have to do...

Boy you guys are good. I need to replace the 12 ga with 10. Got er done and the antenna works awesome. Now all I need is a stereo.

If your serious I'll be glad to share what I did but honestly there are easier ways than what I did. And I'd feel better sharing after I get the head unit installed and have a chance to use it for a week or 2. I did test it by hot wiring the trigger wire and it seems to work exactly as I expected..even better. The only issue I can see so far is the mast may be tilting slightly forward, though its hard to tell from inside the cab. I really didn't want to take the fender off again.

how much did you pay?

what brand name did you buy?

my poor truck doesnt have a radio. yet it had a crapper tape deck that i took out..

i need to find a decent radio kit with speakers just enough to hear something down the road.

If you're asking about the head unit, I haven't bought one yet. I'm leaning towards the SONY MEX-BT 2800. Its about $140 which I can't really afford right now but I may buy it anyway or if I find a decent one at a garage sale for $10 I may just go that rout for the time being.

i saw a pioneer brand at bestbuy for about 99, bucks or so had ipod hook on it..

i did see a add for a jvc the was HD and blue tooth and all the bells and whisles
but the guy a best buy said to stay away from jvc
