I had a post disappear on me a few times too... think it has to do with your web link refreshing or an occasional hiccup on the forum servers... both have happened to me... hooks look good btw

Thanks guys.

Turns out my orig posting title (I was bored last night) was too ambiguous so it was removed. Also turns out there is a rule about this

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f121...titles-124787/

So dont do like I done did. Make your thread titles have something to do with what the thread is going to be about.

Black paint is next

Bleeder, that is exactly what my friend and I were saying, the first strap to touch those is gonna rub all the paint off! But oh well, sometimes we just need to paint something.

I have three easy fixes for this....

1. don't get stuck
or
2. get pulled out in reverse
or
3. get a winch

the right hand hook is a stock item on the 4wds. the left one is just a second stock one he added, looks like he removed the factory "transport tie downs" [the ring things they used to tie the truck down on the ship/delivery trucks] as well.

If you have a 4wd without the RH hook some PO must have removed it for some reason.

Yes, they are stock hooks in stock locations. My truck had one hook and one lighter duty ring (like in Bleeders post above) but I was able to find another stock tow hook at the local U Pull It.

actually most of the aftermarket hooks I've seen also come with keepers but IK what you mean... besides the profile on those after market hooks is wrong too...

D-rings FTW

got one in a receiver mound on the rear, and will have two on the front when my pre-ordered AOR bumper comes in and is installed
