add question

Hi I'm new to yotatech. Have a 93 xcab with a v6. Wanting to put manual hubs on it..cuz I can figure out why the add is not engaging the front diff ..it has vacuum...just not sur if its enuf well long story short can I replace the axel with the sleeve on it with a reg axel instead of jerry rigging it to stay locked in..any help is much appreciated

You can pull the actuator valve and slide the gear to the locked postion.Hold it in place witha hose clamp, and remove the vacume lines. There are several good write ups with pics.Just keep searching.

Thanks I had seen that article bfor but couldn't remember where...my previous yotas were an 83 and 85..so have never had to deal with the vacuum crap bfor..other than on a cpl s10 s I had..that's a whole other story...lol but thank you again I appreciate it!!!!
