add-a-leaf or spring helper?
I am building an extra 22r-e I have right now with a new top end from LC engineering and using my '86 4runner as a daily driver. I am saving up the cash for a downey 4" IFS lift and don't want to put new rear springs on the rear, just to do it again in 4 months when I do the lift. But right now i have very bad rear end sag and crazy rear body roll.
Should I:
1. install procomp 2" add-a-leaf for $60
2. install a spring helper from my local Pepboys for $60
Same price for each which setup will give me the best ride and results?
I have a '86 toyota 4runner 22r-e. I got it for free and by the end of the summer with $5000 in it it'll be a desert runner.
Thanks for the help.

I installed the procomp 2" add-a-leaf. It was used so it only gave me 1.5" of lift (perfect to match the bj spacers). I never realized how bad the ride was, since the leafs were riding on the overload.
If I could do it again (with a better leaf pack) I would go with a long add-a-leaf style. When fully flexed my leafs get a M shape to them!
Just has to last for a few months though, I never got these for a permanent fix.
