hi everyone, so if my truck aint pulling up any codes when i do the jumper thing will a code reader bring up any? like at autozone....

 

Code readers won't tell you anything a paperclip can't tell you.

All it does is make the check engine light flash. If you jumper the diagnostic terminals and there are no stored codes, then you are good. Is your check engine light on? Why are you checking codes in the first place

 

at idle my truck sits at 800-900 pretty good but it has a shake to it not noticeable on the tac but if you look st the block you can see it shake. i change coil, plugs,wires, cap,rotor,cleaned,TB,sea foamed, adjusted TB sensor,checked for vac leaks. im so lost....when i look at the timing mark on the pulley with the gun i see the mark move, it sits at the 10 then jumps up then down then stable and repeats itself....

 

Its supposed to do that, the ECU will adjust timing unless the check connector is shorted to set timing

 

there is something wrong i dont know what.....

 

im guessing fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, knock sensor
