96 Taco wheels fit on a 92 Runner?
I have a set of 96 Tacoma 15x7 alloy wheels that someone wants for their 92 4Runner. Will these fit, mainly is the hub size the same? I measured the hub and it looks like my wheels are 4-1/8 approximately.

what do you mean you measured the hub?
I measured my headlights and they are 4-1/8.
So I guess I can put the rims where the headlights are.
*edit- re-measured the headlights.

yeah, maybe so 4Runner202020
but it was said the hub was measured and the wheels were approximately 4 1/8
so if the hub was measured, how does that affect the wheels?
likewise I could say the wheels were measured but how does that affect the hub?

I put a set of 96 Tacoma 15" rims on my 87 4Runner and not only do they fit, they look awesome.
The issure will be whether or not the 92 has the big V6, thus the bigger calipers. They should still fit with a little "grinding" on the caliper for clearance.

I mis-spoke obviously. Sorry, I'm not an auto mechanic. I measured the inside of the wheel, where it goes OVER the hub. Sorry, thought that was obvious enough. This guy who wants the wheels said that he got a set of 2000 4Runner wheels and they were 1/16" off(too small). That was why I was questioning if the HUB size was different between a 92 Runner and 96 Taco. Make sense now?
