95 taco wont start

Hey, im having a bit of trouble starting my car. When i turn the key all i hear is a spinning/whirling noise. its faint but i can still hear it. i think its the starter but i replaced that less then a year ago (about 5000 miles) and it hasnt been giving me any kind of troube prior to this morning when i tried to go to work. it wouldnt even try to turn over, as soon as i turned the key i just got that noise. i tried tapping the starter and that didnt do anything (worked on my old started when i had a flat spot on it) do you think it could be a worn flywheel? any help would be appreciated (im no expert at wiring or much but i know some general car knowledge)

Sounds like you are not getting a good enough ground. Try removing your battery terminals and scrape them clean. Mix a little baking soda with some water and pour it on them. Rinse them off. Make sure they are good and tight when you put them back on.
