95 4runner lack of power!!!

hi i just bought a 95 4runner and i was wondering if anyone had some tips to get better mpg and some more power?

Sure cut off all the sheetmetal behind the windshield to lighten it up a bit and do an engine swap to a Chevrolet 454 for more power. Easy as pie..........
