If my water pump was faulty would that cause coolant to leak out the exhaust? Help!!!

uhm..not to my knowledge..

sounds to me like the epic 3VZE headgasket..

run the VIN at the local toyota dealership and see if the Headgasket Recall has been done..

if not..take it to them and it will get fixed FOR FREEEEEEE

Head gasket is probably blown. You should be seeing lots of white smoke (steam) coming out the tail pipe.

95 4runner 3vze help

I have water leaking from exhaust and it appears to be in my oil as well. Is there a product anyone can recommend that i can use as a sealant like bars or blue devil? Okay I also noticed when adding coolant it appears to leak out instantly from under engine then when cranked it leaks from exhaust?

Water in the tailpipe is just condensation, unless you mean you're burning the coolant and its puffing out white smoke. If you can, take a picture of your oil drained out and see if it really is coolant in the oil for just condensation there too. When it was -30 and colder here, I would get some condensation build up on the inside of the oil cap that looked like coolant on both my '93 and '88 4runner. The '93 was losing coolant and I knew where from, but the '88 wasnt losing any so I knew it was just condensation. As far as the leak goes, trace the leak back to its origin and let us know.

DO NOT USE STOP LEAK!! Its bad and will plug your coolant lines. I know from experience. Plus, it only holds for a few weeks at most and will end up floating around in the radiator and reservoir.

Is it blowing out white smoke all the time? or just when warming up? I get white smoke when its warming up and cold outside. It, too, it just condensation. but if you're getting smoke and after it has warmed up (engine and/or outside temp) then you probably have a bad head gasket.
Like I said, try and follow the leak to its origins.

so... you have coolant in your no6 combustion chamber. it's either getting there from the block, from the head, or from between the two (headgasket). You can try one of those headgasket fixers that you replace the coolant with, which can temporarily fix minor problems like that, but the only way youre gonna be able to fix it right is to take evrything apart and find out what the actual cause is.

Time to talk to engnbldr and get a head set. Depending on your miles you probably will want to do the water pump and the timing belt as well.

Sorry man...I feel your pain.

oh well, too bad the cheap fix didnt work
Doing the HG on a 3vze looks a lot tougher than it actually is. All you need is this link
http://www.ncttora.com/fsm/1993/index.html
a bunch of tools (the toughest tool to find is gonna be the cam pulley holder which you will need to remove the cam pulleys) a bunch of pb blaster and patience. It took me nearly a month to do mine between downtime waiting for parts, the machine shop, and having to go to school 7 hours a day, but I got it done and it runs good...go for it!

ah yes, definitely do the water pump, timing belt, and dependig on mileage, you might wanna swap out the oil pump as well. Get the injetors cleaned and tested, and remember that apart from all the obvious parts, you will need new exhaust gaskets, new copper fuel rail gaskets, and probably some other stuff Im forgetting. Oh, and antiseize lube is your friend.

1) Antifreeze overflowing in the center valley and leaking down the back
2) Heater hoses/Rear heater hoses/ Water control vavle
3) Sensor junction block in the back
4) J hose
5) Coolant jacket on the lower intake manifold gaskets

Where exactly is it coming from, which side or dead center? If your positive its dead center like you say, I would double check the sensor junction behind the intake manifold, that tends to leak, Unfortunately you have to take off the upper intake to obviously re-seal it and while your there you might as well freshing up any vacuum hoses/coolant hoses etc and def the plenum gasket. I was searching for a leak back there for a while and it ended up being the rear water jacket on the lower intake manifold gasket on the drive side head. I would put a pressure tester on it and watch all the above area's
