94 runner driver door lock issues
So the vehicle in question is a 1994 toyota 4 runner sr5. I've hunted all over afew times tried afew different scenarios as suggested on other yota tech threads and came to the conclusion that i had a bad drivers door lock.
So now i just got off my butt and replaced all four of the rusty doors on my runner with 4 other power door lock, power window and power mirror doors from my trucks twin. Low and behold same thing. no electric drivers door lock/unlock. Now i have tested with a meter and discovered that both lock and unlock power as they should. Changed out the drivers door switch assembly as well as relays with known good toy units and all fuses are good also.
Anyone have the same issues? Any solutions or other avenues i should try? Could it be related to the factory system that makes it so one can't lock the door when the key is in the ign? only thing i havent tryed is a new door lock control module.
