looking for input on a new rebuild. after rebuilding i have a pulsating or surging going on while driving. engine sounds great but is doggish. what about the fuel pulsation dampner?

 

I dunno how the fuel pulsation dampener works, but it sounds like it might be a throttle position sensor issue to me. Did you remove the TPS at some point? Those things cause a whole host of issues if they aren't adjusted within a hairline amount.
