94 3.0 overheating?

94 3.0 overheating?
My 94 v6 4x4 is overheating while pulling a 13ft scamp (light trailer). I removed the Thermostat so that isnt the problem. After the t-stat removed shouldnt i see good flow when the radiator cap is removed? I dont see good flow which leaves me to believe there is a blockage somewhere. My radiator was rodded out about a year ago. Any suggestions?

I flushed and noticed flow in the rad. I took it to town and drove it for about an hour after the flush and it started to get close to the red when i was about 5 minutes from home. I lifted the hood and found the rad hose from the motor had two holes in it. I never noticed this before so i think its just old and couldnt stand another really hot one. I am thinking my rad is the problem. Any advice on whether to tell if its the waterpump or rad?

my 3vze gets hot if it sits for more than 5 mins, other than that its right where it should be. im thinking my water pump is done. sounds like you could have a block in the system, but i would do a water pump. there isnt much of a way to tell if its bad so just take it off and replace it. i think they are like 130 bucks and you get a new timing belt too

It's the radiator. You can get a new all metal radiator from CSF online for about $200.00.

I am actually in the process of changing out the water pump in my 93 Toyota T100 4WD 3.0 I started with the radiator because of the obvious 5" fine crack in the very top. After replacing the radiator, I filled with coolant and hoped there weren't other components causing the overheating.
Unfortunately, it overheated again with the new radiator. I drained coolant and replaced thermostat. I let it run at normal temp for about 10 min with no signs of increase in temp.
I drove it to work that night and everything seemed fine. I came out 3 hours later to do a bank run and noticed my precious coolant all over the ground and the water pump dripping underneath.
I am now opening up the timing cover and trying to replace the water pump. I haven't done this task before so its definitely a learning experience! Since I have to take timing belt off and be so careful with the positions, I'm replacing it as well as the timing tensioner and idler. I bought new spark plugs to swap out. I am hoping that this job will make my yota run ever so beautiful! It has 150K on it and needed a little internal TLC!
Many have told me I don't have to change belt, tensioner or idler but its never been done. Sure as I try to put it all back together that's when it would fail on me and destroy my timing and everything else that is kept in line by it.
