93 SR5 issues

Looking at buying a 93 SR5 4x a the 3.0.

Any common issues to be looking for while test driving or looking over the pickup? 212k miles on it.

Any info would be appreciated.

Don`t let your LUST for a Toyota 4x4 over come your common sense

You don`t say where your looking at this

Has it seen any winter ??

Get underneath check out the frame and fuel and brake lines .

Brake backing plates as well !!

Look for holes in the floor as well .

When was the last timing belt done ??

Problems with the head gaskets ??

Over all condition of the engine compartment .

Belts in decent shape ??

If you have made it this far time to start the engine.

Does it start or is there some excuse like no battery or it rain out of gas ETC

Take it for a ride make sure it shifts into all the gears 4 low and high range .

Never fails even the best of us miss things once in awhile
