Well i did some work to my truck this week. I put on a new intake pipe. Then i reset the timing. the timing was set at 5 degrees i moved it to 15. both dif breathers are plugged really bad. looks like they where never changed. But just want to thank every one for there help. next is going to be breathers and spark plugs. what would you guys say would be a good plug and wires. What year maf do i need for my truck? I want to put in a 7m or a camrey one. FYI truck is 3.0 v6 4x4.

NGK for stock replacement. But it really doesn't matter that much. Not on this engine atleast. Plugs are plugs, wires are wires(if we're talking stock replacement that is).

Replace the breathers? Yeah...nobody does that. Since there's no real reason to. If they're clogged, clean 'em out and put 'em back on. Pretty much a waste of money to chuck 'em in the trash and buy new ones.

No comment on the AFM swap. I'm not into that.

When you take off the breathers to clean them it's a good idea to extend them up higher so water and crap doesn't get in there. My rear one is extended behind the tail light. The front is in the engine bay.

I bought the camry afm forever ago. Still haven't installed it but it's on the list. Supposed to be plug and play but it's a bit too tall to bolt to the air box. I have this issue with keeping everything looking as it belongs under the hood. There should be a few pics of the size difference between afm's in the link in my sig.
