93' Pick up Electrical Problems

I have 93 toyota pick up. I just recently installed a new battery...about a week after that I am having problems with the power temporarily shutting off when i turn on my blinkers, brake lights, or head lights. The radio shuts off and comes back on and my speedometer also goes to zero. When the head lights are turned on my entire truck almost shuts down from a loss of power but just for a split second and then things are find. I suspect a wiring problem! I have cleaned the terminals on my battery and tightened them. Also i have looked at the wires hooked up to the battery and alternator. I feel like it could take forever to find a wire that is shorting out....can anyone point me in the right direction!!!

well ive had to do this a few times and it aint fun it is a lot of detective work . you are going to have to find that short ok did any body install any accessories like stereo offroad lights etc ??? did this just happen by its self? normally shorts happen by somone modifying stuff and not knowing

go to sjdiscount.com tools and they sell a short finder you will have to either
find a good electrical shop near by or do this your self and you will need to get the f shop manual with the wiring diagram and buy a ohm meter you will have to learn how to use it those problems are a dog !!!!! but you at least know where the basic problem lies and from there is a process of elimination you need to check each wire and see if its not damaged hitting ground the sunpro ohm meter is good for doing that and go wire by wire

make sure the terminals are tight..... this happened to me when my terminals were loose or corroded.
