93 bumper problems

Ok so heres my problem. I picked up a 93 Toyota 3vze 4X4 ext cab earlier this summer, and it had some front end damage. the passenger fender is a little bent up in the front, and the bumper is missing. I bought a new bumper from a shop up here in AK, and ordered some bumper mounts from Yotayard in denver, and the bumper is not even close to fitting snug. there is about an inch and a half gap between the top of the bumper and the grill. from pictures I've seen I know its not supposed to have a gap, but It none the less does with this new bumper and mounts. I need some help. did they send the wrong mounts? Do I have the wrong bumper? am I missing pieces? do I have the bumper mounts in the wrong place? This is my first toyota pickup, so I am new to this and any help would be awesome.

lol. I see body lift pucks!!!!
Thats why the bumper doesnt fit. the body lift. You need to make or buy some brackets to lift the bumper up to the body. Or leave it like that

that makes a lot of sense. I thought the truck looked a little tall when I bought it. any idea where I could get some brackets that might fit? or how hard is it to take out the body lift?

Some people say they are lame, others think they are great. Personally, I have no problem. My runner had it on already when I bought it. I was planning on a body lift before I bought it, but not until I needed it to fit tires. They are cheap lifts that do what suspension lifts do without messing up the stock suspension: allowing you to fit larger tires. I'm pretty sure the brackets on my 4runner are just some Simpson Strong Ties or something like that
