I have a 93 V6 4x4 3.0 with an automatic transmission. It has started slipping when I start from being totally stopped. It seems to mostly happen with it is raining and it only happens about 20% of the time, but it seems to be happening more. If I rev it up when it's not engaging the O/D off light will flicker on. Low, 2nd and reverse work fine and I can usually start in low and then switch up once i am moving and it doesn't have issues after that in the higher gears. It feels like it might eventually catch if I just keep reving it up, but I am usually holding up traffic so I kick it down to Low, but I guess it might not be engaging at all and staying in neutral. The shifter has some play in it and it used to show drive but be in second, so maybe I am having issues on that end and it is showing drive but somewhere between that an neutral. It does leak fluid and but I have been keeping it pretty dialed. Anyone had this issue before?
