so, because i am bored right now, here's a list of what i ended up ordering from www.trdparts4u.com

LOWER HOSE (from timing cover to block)
a/c belt
p/s belt
alt belt
22re sticker
3vze sticker (for my son)
Black FIPG
2 valve thermostat (as recommended by 4crawler)
a total of 6 gaskets for the cold start injector (not sure I need all these, but this is what gerone said, so that's what I ordered....for 1.98, 1.07 and 79cents x4, I wasn't going to split hairs either)

My total bill, before shipping, came to a difference of saving $33.77 versus picking this stuff up at my dealer.....$79.03 versus $112.80.

now with shipping, that cuts some of the savings...will either be $9.99 or $14.23 for shipping....BUT, either way, i am still saving money....either a total of $19.54 saved or $23.78 saved.

and besides the savings in shipping, i know i just gave some business to a fellow YOTATECH member (screen name TRDPARTS4U.COM) as well as knew that the guy on the other end of the email(in my case Gerone) knew what the hell he was talking about. he even gave me a picture of a parts diagram screenshot to make sure he and i were talking about the same thing.

so...Good-on-ya Gerone and TRDPARTS4U.COM....ya done me good!!!!

good for you.

I'm getting that little twist in my stomach anticipating getting this going. I'm doing the same OCD detail work on this as I did with my son's truck as we re-did his interior.

OK, nighty-nite.

not sure what I'm going to do today, little guy will be staying home from school...sick.

so have to do the DAD thing with him, and the temperature dropped alot as promised , so not really a good day for him to be out in the garage with me.

working Sat-Sun-Monday....hoping my parts come by Tuesday or Wednesday and then I can mess with trying to get the oil pan back on.

that's a funny story.

1st of all it's out of view...2nd of all it's still attached to the stud...so the stud unscrewed when i tried taking it out.

if you look at the pic, you can almost read the writing on the bag.

it says "1 nut", and "1 stud w/ nut" and 14 bolts(out of view)

OCD over and out!!!!!!!!!!!

yep, it's what keeps me trapped in my little world of "what the hell does this bolt do....?" and that and I'm sure A.D.D. and it's a constant struggle in my world.....but it's fun and makes for good reading

i was wondering where you got to....felt like i was mostly talking to myself here the last few days......thought maybe the "magic" of my thread was gone....that there was no more "spark" in it and that everybody just moved on............

Na the spark is still there!!! I've been rather busy lately with non yota stuff. Finally getting my kitchen counter in this weekend. I'm also lookin at getting another truck...Talking to the guy tonight trying to get the price low and swing a deal.

yeah, it gave me the warning about broken links...we will see.

but it's been a total pain in the tail to browse the pics since they got rid of the "view all" tab at the bottom.

The view all is still there...at least on mine it is. All depends on how your viewing the album.

The lil lady isn't happy about it but it's a good deal, maybe and it will be for me boy no me. Ouch is right things are quit tight now but in the long run it will be worth.
