92 reg cab too much?

hey all new to this forum, had a toyota pickup in the past am thinking about getting another one but the guy in the city where i live is asking too much for the one i want, does anyone think $3500canadian is too much for 1992 toyota pickup 4x4 reg cab 4 cyl with 221 000miles. body looks decent but havent had it up on a ramp yet

If it is rust free then it would be a good deal, other than htat it seems high priced for your area. Check the autotrader for comparisons.

around here, all '89-95 pickups seem to be worth quite a bit. typical asking price on a plain, 5 speed 4cylinder truck seems to be between 3500-4500, with nicer ones going 5-6k!

yeah i agree. here in SC they are hard to come across in decent shape and very hard to find under $4K in good shape. I stopped by a used car dealership and they had one that had obviously been gone through ( new paint, tires/wheels, etc) and they were asking $7500
