Hey guys,

I just got a 92 4Runner that has an alarm system in it and I'm simply trying to understand what the different modes are and how to use it, etc.

It has a rocker switch and one side says something like "Horn Defeat" and the other side says something like "Valet Mode". Anyways, if anyone has a PDF manual or some online link to a manual or a detailed explanation of it, that would be great...

 

if you cant figure it out, your best bet will be to take it to a stereo/alarm shop and have a new alarm put in. trying to figure out things that other people do to there car is a nightmare. also you know you have the only alarm remotes that will work with the system.

 

well it is a factory Toyota alarm... says Toyota specifically on it and there are no remotes or such... just an in-car alarm thing that i cannot figure out... any ideas?
