So I have a 92 4runner 5 speed with 3.0 v6, I recently just had it try and go into 4 wheel drive while going down the road when it happens i can hear a swich click sound like when you try and put it in 4x4 you can also hear it kick in but not the axles it has whine like the tranfercase is engaged then when you slow down to about 30mph it locks the axles in then out and it hits hard and the swirch sound goes crazy i then put it in 4x4 and it works fine put it in 2 hi and go and it won't act up for awhile jusy wondering what it could be and i don't have lockers on my hubs
