can only guess that timing may be wayyyyyyy off.

have one guy crank it while the other guy rotates the distributor to adjust timing. move the distributor slow. if that doesnt do it, i would verify proper dist./cam gear alignment

2nd on timing being off, and prob 180 degrees.
turn the crank so the timing marks line up and check your distributor for the rotor pointing at the 1 cylinder terminal

I know you said the injectors are clicking, but make sure the ground wire on the intake manifold is hooked up. When you have everything out it falls underneath things and it's easy to forget. That's why mine wouldn't start after i did the head gasket.

Double checked the timing on the cam it was ok.
grounds are ok.
Rotated crank 180 and re aligned cam. PITA.
Set the dist @ 12 oclock and pushed it in. It rotated back to # 1.
no Codes being thrown.
The shop put in new springs and guides adjusted the valves.
It just rotates. It seems to rotate fast.
I just dont get it.

Vales Valves Vlaves.
So the head was cleaned and shaved a tad I guess.
The valves never closed all the way.
Thats why it would just spin and spin.
No compession with the compression tester.
Must be the valves.
Adjusted the valves.
Now it goes rarw rarw pop.
Dead batt. LOL.
I think we got it. We are charging it now.
Man you can really tell the difference in cranking now.
I will post again once we get it started.
