Exclamation 91 runner timing

Okay, so i replaced my head gasket on my 22RE last week and just got it running. I decided to try and adjust my timing. So i set it at 5 degrees BTDC and it started up and idled at 1100 rpm. My truck has always idled at about 2000 to 1500 rpm (not good). When i drove it it was extremely slow. no acceleration, no power. I continued to mess with and found that it ran great at about 30 BTDC. So i drove it around for a few days and decided to try and fix that problem. Through trial and error it now does not idle. It also seems like it's running on 3 cylinders below 2500 rpm and runs great above 2500. I've also notice that there is a whine or hissing noise coming from around the air intake chamber. That is obviously a vacuum leak but i cannot figure out which one would cause it to act like this. Any ideas?!
