I have a 91 and it runs like a champ when its cold but once it warms up it gets sluggish , valves clatter on accelerattion etc. Also it has started to intermittanly idle up and down, 2000 rpm to 700.. I checked for air leaks and the connection on the thermo deal that changes the timing after it warms up. Can these this work and not work at times? Thanks for any help.. Rob

 

Well I changed the engine temp sensor and the water operated air idle valve and this baby runs like a champ. It took care of the crazy surging idle and the poor performance / valves clattering etc..
