91 3vze 4wd 3 in lift manuel

I currently own a 92 4wd pickup 22re. I'm looking at buying a 91 4wd 3vze 3 inch lift with brand new larger tires. it has 185 k miles on it. Manuel transmition. It runs just fine, but he just got a new truck and is trying to get rid of it. I've taken it for a test drive and it sounds great, and seems to run like a champ. he's asking 1800 for it, with only one problem. it leaks oil. he's replaced the gaskets, and it didn't fix the problem.
one, what do you think the problem could be?
two, would it be a good buy? i'm not the smartest at all the technical stuff yet, and your guys opinion would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

what gaskets has he replaced? Has the front and rear crank seals been checked? But it does sound like a good deal if it's not eat up with rust.

Depends where its leaking from.

comming areas would be the valve covers (passenger side is impossible to change without removing the upper intake manifold), the cam seals and the rear main...

1800 is cheap, I'd buy it
