90 Toyota 4x4 5 speed, blinker issue

90 Toyota 4x4 5 speed, blinker issue
Hey looking for some ideas, helping a friend with this issue, thought I'd get some ideas before I go back over to help him some more.
He has a 90 4x4, all lights flash when hazzards are on, but ONLY his left blinkers work. not the right blinkers. What's weird, is it happened after he had his right front fender replaced. Yet, if a wire was broke the hazzard in the front right shouldn't work either, yet it does. Just the right blinkers won't blink.
any thoughts, or first things to check?
