90 pickup firewall issue..

ok so on my truck when i push in the clutch it seems the whole clutch bracket moves in. i looked around and when i push the clutch in the bracket moves in too and under the hood the slave cylinder moves back. (towards the cab) i think it the firewall is weak or something cause the metal like bends in and idk what to do makes my truck nearly impossible to drive. i was thinkn bout putin a peice of metal behind the slave cylinder to make the spot stronger buy idk if thatll do anything. anybody else know what to do or no similar problems?

is the firewall rusting? where do you live? is rust an issue where you are? friend of mine had a chevy pu that when you pushed in the clutch the cab would lift off the frame. ate a few clutches in under a few thousand miles and he decided to swap the cab. might be easier to swap the cab if the firewall is .
